Dr. Brian Laski has joined his father, Dr. Sol Laski, in his Markham orthodontic practice (5762 Hwy #7, between Markham and McCowan Roads). Dr. Sol and Dr. Brian are the only parent-child pair to have graduated from the University of Toronto's graduate orthodontic program.
Dr. Brian Laski received the Dean's gold medal for excellence when he graduated from the University of Toronto's doctor of dental surgery program in 2005. He then spent a year as a dental resident at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto. As a recent graduate from the Faculty of Dentistry with a Master of Science degree, Brian was also granted the Aaron L. Posen Award for excellence and creativity in orthodontics. This is only the sixth time this distinction has been awarded in the last 26 years, and the first time since 2002.
